The Good Shepherd Preschool at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church provides a loving and caring environment to foster social, emotional, and academic growth for our children. We embrace the values of Christian love, kindness, fun, consideration, and concern for others. Our curriculum blends academic growth with creative and physical activities—including play, crafts, music, physical education, and biweekly worship—to support well-rounded development.
All classes are staffed with a teacher and an aide. With class sizes limited to 12–15 students, our teachers are able to provide more individualized instruction and build meaningful relationships with each child. Our half-day classes run from September through May, meeting from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Families also have the option to extend the day with our “Lunch Bunch” program, available three to four days a week until 2:30 p.m.
The Good Shepherd Preschool believes all children benefit from a high-quality early childhood education. Students of all races, colors, national and ethnic origins are welcomed at our school. Our staff will work with English language learners using evidence-based strategies to support and accelerate their language development.
