Wow! Look at what God is doing on the corner of Valley Forge and Henderson Roads in King of Prussia! The Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd has a new pastor!

On Sunday, June 10, 2007, I was called to the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd as pastor. From the excitement that surrounded the worship service and the congregational meeting, I really felt the Spirit at work. It was palpable. The process to call an ELCA (Lutheran) pastor is quite involved. Through the partnership with our local Bishop's Office, the Congregation represented by a chosen call committee, and an approved candidate the call process can take awhile. There are a series of check points and times of spiritual discernment that must take place throughout this time. For me, this call process has been a journey to get to know the congregation and a time for them to get to know me. Ultimately, we have to thank God for guiding us and bringing us to this time and place.

I look forward to our life together and the ministry that we will do side-by-side. The Lord Jesus Christ has given us a plan to invite people to come into relationship with him. He has also given us a charge to spread the Good News of his forgiveness and love to all people to the ends of the earth.

We worship on Sundays at 9:30 a.m. during the summer and we have a great Vacation Bible School coming up for children beginning July 16th for which we are currently taking registrations.
